Wow! Thank you all for a great experience. Your passion for what you do is obvious. Very experienced, very patient, very encouraging. The students were equally impressive. Your club is clearly on the right path. CLIMB ON!

Thank you for an unforgettable weekend. I learned a lot and can't wait to put my skills to the test. Few suggestions: Sometimes too many chiefs so it was confusing to know which way was the right way for learning purposes. (recommend continuity, then alternatives) Rock day made a lot of sense in the way we built our skills throughout the day-would have liked more time to climb. Great camaraderie among our students and leaders. Very patient. Very confident-an essential skill when your life is potentially on the line. Very approachable and contagious enthusiasm. Snow day: would have liked two rope set-ups, seemed a bit slow. Would have liked to use crampons-though snow was too soft. Liked all of the self-arrest practice and the belay drills-gave me confidence. A special thanks to Jess and Amy for their guidance, hope to climb with you two soon! Additional thanks to Ellen, Vincent, and all of the other wonderful leaders who encouraged, coached, advised, and celebrated each success.

I would recommend this opportunity to anyone and look forward to sharing climbing adventures with many of you in the future!

I had a wonderful experience in the Chemeketan Climb School and would recommend it to anyone interested in learning basic rock and snow climbing techniques. The combination of lecture and field practice enabled me to gain a solid depth of knowledge. I enjoyed learning knots, rappelling, prusiking, and self-belay techniques on snow. What made Climb School great though were the leaders. They were professional, organized, experienced, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, excited, well staffed and fun. I express thanks in particular to Bill and Ellen the co-organizers and to Mike, Jess, Amy, Keith and Vincent my pod leaders. I feel I now have the essentials to participate in a climb, and look forward to joining in a Chemeketan climb this year. As Greg says "CLIMB ON!"
